The Eyrie Vineyards established the first vines in the Willamette Valley in 1965. This Chardonnay blends two estate vineyards sited in the volcanic soils of the Dundee Hills, Sisters, and the Eyrie. We seek the most pure expression of the varieties we grow. This means no irrigation, no tillage, and no herbicides. The grapes are harvested by hand, pressed, and fermented with native yeasts in French oak barrels. Our respectful approach helps nurture the harmony of fruit, acidity, and structure in the final wine.
